I can be nice.

I remained sober for the weekend as I didn't feel like sitting in a crowded bar.

It was humid outside yesterday, woo! That was some heavy stuff. I was going to take my bike out today but it's supposed to storm.

We got a little drizzle this morning, that was it for the 2-3 inches they predicted yesterday, or the 1.5 inch they were predicting today.

There's alot to see, Japanese gardens one of my favorite areas. I lived in Illinois all my life and only started going there regularly 3 yrs. before I moved. I never got to the model railroad area, which I understand is a big hit with families.

It was amazing to me the number of people I talked to that were clueless as to where it was and of course had never been there. From the name people assume its closer to the city and don't realize how easy it is to visit.

That's so true about the name. I was thinking it was closer to Chicago as well. It really is quite the place and it looked like there were nice things for children to do. We really didn't scratch the surface because of the rain but it definitely would be worth a trip back. I've heard they decorate nicely for the Christmas season.

Doing fine on the east side, fairly cool all day today, which was good I was having my garage stained, perfect weather for it.

Can't believe 20th of August tomorrow, where in the world is this summer going so fast, slow down!
