9* freaking degrees outside right now in the Portage area. The snow that fell last night was the light fluffy kind. I've heard estimates of 6-7" to 11-13". I hope it's a big doozie and it ends up being like an inch.lol

Well, if the kids get a snow day... I've got Christmas cookies lined up. Should keep us busy for an hour or two... I hope!

LOL, isn't that about the way it goes all the time! They hype it up and it turns out to be nothing.

It's been snowing here since about 5 this morning, so far just a dusting, enough to cover the driveway.

Sounds like fun. Ah the joys of living 2 blocks away from the lake, so far just a dusting of snow and we will get rain later and all said and done we should get 1-4 inches of snow. Right now it's 36 degrees.

The cookies sound fun, kids love to do them! Looking at the fluffy flakes coming down now I wonder if this storm is going to live up to the hype of the last 3 days!

I'm looking out the window and wondering if we're going to get slammed. My son has a meeting tonight for Scouts. I'm going to give it a miss just incase. I'm not familiar with the country roads, plus it's supposed to get worse as the day wears on.

I know what I'll be doing in the morning... can you guess? Hint... it involves snow, and a lot of hard work!

We've got two, maybe three inches, hard to tell with all the blowing.

I am soooo happy that DH has tomorrow off. The car is in the garage and we are tucked in for the duration. And best of all, no shoveling!

Hmm, I think I might be obsessing about that whole not-having-to-shovel-this-year thing.

We are excited although the bulk of the snow will hit south of us. I keep looking at my snow shoes and wanting to go for a walk. Love this time of year.
