My daughter is up in Lac du Flambeau with her boyfriend and his family (the aunt/uncle live up there) fishing! She floored me this winter when she went up there. Had no idea she meant to ice fish. They ended up in the local newspaper showing their "catches".

The trip was basically to get away from our politically corrupt town. We needed some relaxation and Rhinelander offers plenty of that!
Very true! Yes, I meant bars, didn't know you were 19. I suggest when you turn 21 you head to Pine Harbor Bar, it's an experience.

I will have to try the karfar!

Wow what a beautiful night! It feels like September! The sound of the crickets and bull frogs makes a guy tired...

Enjoy this weather everyone!

I went to a car show on Sat. here in TR, then to Roger St. Fishing Village for their annual days to support the museum (all within walking distance of my house). The museum had the Kahlenberg engine running which is pretty awesome (its huge and sounds great).

Today I drove down to Lakemoor, Illinois for a baby shower, great fun and nice seeing people I hadn't in awhile! Every time I go down though, I'm always very happy to come back to Wisconsin! :-)

I got off 43 and went through Sheboygan, which I hadn't done in years really and while the lakefront and parks are great, I'm glad I chose the Two Rivers area. Hard to believe I'm in TR almost a year, closed on the house Aug. 28th last year. Time does fly by!

Love those cool nights! I just leave the windows open and pile another blanket on the bed!

Only in the high 50's here at night though, no 40's yet, you can keep those in the center of the state for awhile! :-)
