Shannon, I think part of it was me misinterpreting what my intentions were. I did space out saying I wanted to redesign our plates..

Badger you didn't have to come on so strong. I just wanted to see a change... I realize we have heavy taxes...

That's ok Shannon.... I just try to keep things level headed around here. Badger did seem to come off strong and I thank you for standing up against that...

And I was being humorous. Of course, I don't expect everybody to get it.

I appreciate that you were trying; I simply found it to be just the opposite.

Wisconsin has a lot to gain from promoting itself correctly and it is my hope that residents of Wisconsin recognize that some of the traditionally provincial bragging rights such as "America's Dairyland" need to be replaced with something that promotes the state for some of the more appealing qualities that it has.

Actually I recovered after the initial shock. Now I have two teams, the Jets and Packers. I see that a lot of people are not able to reconcile it. Lot of people are insane with irrationality over Thompson or over Favre.

Just as many people associate A. Lincoln with Illinois; many associate Wisconsin with cows and dairy products.

I think Wisconsin needs new plates as well as my state.

I actually think the Illinois plate is lamer than Wisconsins.

I hate it.

I mean what is more lamer than "Land of Lincoln?"

Lincoln is from Kentucky right? Or at least he was born there... I think that the Illinois plates are still way better than the Wisconsin plates...

Well yeah Lincoln was born in Kentucky.I think he was 21 when his family moved to Illinois. Lincoln actually lived in Indiana for a longer period of time than in Kentucky.

Graphics wise Illinois has the edge for now, but concept wise the Illinois plates suck.
