A big old T-storm just rumbled through here over the past half hour. As usual, I had my screen door open, and watched from the living room.

HI: Inasmuch as I love warm, sunny weather, a nice thunderstorm is a welcome relief to sort of "clear the air". Also, an overcast day after a streak of sunny days, is to me, sort of nice (as soon as it doesn't go on too long!!)

I agree, as long as it doesn't go on too long. we have the endless summer going on here. I can't wait for the four seasons and some actual changing weather. everyday is sunny (practically) in CA why do we even have weather men? J/K

The weather could be a problem, there are tremendous storms sweeping through Green Bay right now.

Does someone have a better weather site?

Up in NE Wisconsin, we had a storm hit in the early morning hours. My husband said there were a couple of real "house shaking booms". Unfortunately, I slept right through them.

We finally got a decent rainfall today, we've been dry here the last 2 weeks or so. It really came down and I just love it! The louder the better my way of thinking! :-)

Here in TR with the rivers and the lake so close, storms really roll through and are very loud. In Waukegan, storms would come through but not as loud as here. My bedroom window is on the west side, I can be in bed and look out and see the light show!

Woohoo, bring it on!

Yeah, that would be me. The National Weather Service website is my home page. I'm a weather dork, what can I say.

When storms rumble through I'm generally standing outside watching unless it's hailing or really bad wind. Then I just watch from inside. lol I'll be that person getting whisked away by a tornado because I just had to see it.

Dreamhunter, can you PM me that website too? Unless it's Weather Bug, then don't even bother :-) Thanks!
