Default Apartment for June/July in Minocqua or Phillips/Park Falls
Does anyone have any info on a place to rent (furnished preferred) for the months of June & July in either Minocqua area or Phillips/Park Falls area? I'm looking for something sort of equidistant between Wausau and Ashland. Will be working one day a week in Ashland for the 2 months.

Phillips/Park Falls is much more "Northern" and "countryish"/rural----at least as compared to Minocqua, which I think of as "touristy" and commercial.

I'd suggest that you check out the various listinging in the local papers----the Park Falls Herald comes to mind----do a Google on it and it should come up. Bet you could find a nice, furnished, cottage to rent for a few months----Good Luck and God Speed!

Thanks for the tip. I checked into the Park Falls paper online...looks like some possibilities there.
