The bluffs of western Wisconsin. There are some awesome views from the tops of the bluffs.

I like driving around here in central Wisconsin.
We were just in western Wisconsin by the bluffs along the Mississippi a few weeks ago so I can just imagine the views with the fall colors. We might have to do a day trip out there this fall.

A couple stops to visit if you go:
La Crosse - Grandad's bluff, well-known park with great views of the river valley and La Crosse.
Alma - Buena Vista park, overlooks Mississippi river valley as well and has a picnic area
Nelson - Nelson Cheese Factory for some awesome aged cheddar and ice cream cones from homemade ice cream, yum!

Door County is amazing, particularly driving through Peninsula State Park, what a sight to behold!

Kettle Moraine is great, I went through there for the 1st time this spring and definitely plan to go back for fall.
I don't think you can go wrong checking out alot of the state parks, area around the Mississippi, Door County and of course, the northwoods!
Lots of choices! I can't wait to explore some more, I love fall!

Driving through the family farmland down in Buffalo cty. is beautiful. Cresting a hill and BAM right over the cliff, a ton of beautiful trees broken up by green farmland.
