Wisconsin Hockey
Question...Who do they root for in WI NHL wise?? I imagine they wouldn't take the Blackhawks, right? Do you get any NHL games besides the ones on VS?

I would assume the the Wild get coverage out there along with Chicago. I've heard though that the Wisconsin Badgers are the big hockey team in the state.

Could they support a team...not the fans but the corporate $$ that owners crave?
BTW whats with Bucky this year? Is it a reload, they looked slow vs Gophers.

Which NHL team do Wisconsin residents root for...or do they not follow the NHL by large?

Most of WI just isn't very big on hockey (which is in direct and stark contrast of course to hockey-rabid MN to the west and MI - home of the loved Red Wings - to the east).
Two decades ago, the thoughts were hot for bringing an NHL team to Milwaukee (henceforth the Bradley Center's hockey-friendly design), however, that ended up fading out (and thankfully so - the NHL never would've survived here through the 90s).
I am sure there are some scattered Wild, Blackhawk, Red Wings, and Predators fans here, but largely, the hockey that *is* followed in the state (the little that is), is the UW Badgers (NCAA) or the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
