Very nice, Hanna!

The gas in Presque Isle was $4.14 while it was $3.89 in Minocqua. Back home it was and has been $3.65 according to my father. It's kinda sketchy. No matter the price, the beauty that you encounter is priceless with these fall colors.

Yesterday I drove to Marinette to meet my sister for lunch and colors are looking awesome, still not full color yet but very pretty.

On the way home, I drove up to Door County to Potawatomi and things are changing fast there, too. I want to say next weekend should be prime time for alot of areas, unless all the wind we are getting takes the leaves down first!

We lost a lot of leaves with the cooler temps and rain. There are still some yellows left and a few reds and oranges. We drove down to northern IL last weekend and it hasn't really even started down there yet.

Gas is 2.92 here. Leaves are past peak. Lots of bare spots. Still some yellows left. But it is still a nice time to visit.

Went to Wausau yesterday and colors were just past peak, but still very beautiful. It was a great day to hike and climb the rocks at Rib Mountain State Park. Gas was $2.87 there.

Things are changing slowly here lakeside some green trees still in the neighborhoods, maybe they'll never change.

Took a long ride yesterday and saw lots of trees leaves totally gone, not surprising with the winds, whew they were crazy, lake was really roaring.

I want to say after this coming weekend, that will be it for leaf peepers. Once Halloween comes, things quiet down here not as much traffic heading up to Door (I'm one block off 42). Of course, a good snowfall will bring some traffic back.
