Smile Fairwater Wisconsin

Fairwater may be small, but it is a nice community and it is rich with history. It is home to the largest overshot waterwheel in the United States. The village has different types of buisnesses, which are: Jim & Lisa's (Bar), Tall Pauls (Bar), Leahy's Rustic Inn (Restaruant/Bar), Creative Clips & Gifts (Hair Saloon), Two Feed Mills, a very large park, BP (Gas/Convienence Store), Canning Factory, Bank, Post Office, Stellmacher Lumber, Volunteer Fire Dept. Civic Center(Gym available for different purpouses), Fairwater Lions Club, Fairwater Historical Society-link is http://www.wlhn.org/fairwater_histsoc/index.html
and Zion Lutheran Church. In late July the village holds its annual Jimtown and Billtown days, which helps celebrates the history of Fairwater and it offers various activities for example, tours of the Fairwater Waterwheel.
The village only has 350 people, but it is a nice place to live, and for all of you people complaining about property taxes, they are not to high in Fairwater.

Lovely pictures of a lovely little town in a beautiful part of the world. Thanks for sharing. Just out of curiosity, do most of the folks living there work in Waupaun or where?

I think there are a majority of people in Fairwater who work i Waupun, but Ripon is also another place where the residents work.
