Default Speeding Fines

Anyone know where to find information on the minimum and maximum fines for speeding at various speeds.

My step-daught got a ticket for going 10 over and the fine was $163. Is that a normal fine?

Thanks

The officer probably dropped the speed over the limit to give her a break on the points but kept the amount of the fine that would have applied.

I know have a range for these 5, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24----and each range has a different fine associated. Unsure what they are now long ago found a plac with each listed.

Joe, That sounds about right. Ten over around here is $180.60. Luckily I've never been caught, I just love researching law enforcement!

Sounds about right. Last one I got in WI was in summer 2004, I was doing 15 over and it was $165 or so. I recently got pulled over in MN and the fine for 15 over was $285!
