Deer, Ducks and Now Turkeys?
I heard on the news that 200 wild turkeys were intentionally poisoned in Oconto county west of Pound.
What is wrong with people, I just don't get it!

Is this really "new" news or is the Journal Sentinel choosing to publish snippets about things that, in all honesty, may always be happening?
Don't get me wrong these are bad stories but are they really new or we just hearing about them this winter?
I always look at the "news" with a grain of salt.

I don't remember hearing about things like this last winter. I heard it on WBAY yesterday, evening news report not in the paper. I read the local HTR paper not the Milwaukee one.
A few dead animals is one thing, a hundred or two poisoned with bait traps is strange as is running over deer with snowmobiles.

It seems like a disturbing trend is beginning to take shape. I think people who can harm innocent animals are capable of anything. It's really scary to think about people like that are in our midst.
