Default La Crosse: Who makes good breakfast sandwiches?

I'm a recent transplant to La Crosse from NY and was wondering where was 'the' place to get a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. I was addicted to Dunkin Donut's sandwiches in NY but they aren't represented locally. I've tried the national chains available locally but none of them are very good, alas. Any recommendations?

I suppose you could try Kwik Trip, but odds are it would be pretty crappy. Maybe Mr Ds on State St & West Ave? I'd recommend Fayze's downtown for good, cheap breakfast, but I'm not sure if that'll be a convenient option or if they even make what you're looking for.

Good luck.

Didn't Mr. D's go out of business? Fire? I know they have a little coffee shop but the original, great Mr. D's, I believe, is gone. I found this out last summer when I did my annual trip to La Crosse. It sure was a great asset to La Crosse. I remember it from the early 70's!!
