I like your thinking for Milwaukee.
Madison not so much, sorry. I know your trying to be funny I just don't want someone to take it the wrong way. How about the lakes with some focusing on government and being green.

Wisconsin still produces more dairy per capita than anywhere else.

Therefore we are no longer the dairy state we manufacturer more than anything in this state. Just have a picture of a lake or a city if you live in milwaukee county instead of a farm.
Instead of "America's Dairyland" lets put our county designation like many other states.
So would you change our license plate design?

I personally don't like any of them, thats why I was soooo! happy when I learned how you can just get rid of them all togather ,no state plate looks great on my vehicles. Now all I have is my "Familly Crest" on the front and back. Once you have done It you never travel with them again . Free at last!, Free at last! Only way to go .

For the record I'm not much of a farmer. But I don't mind the plates at all, and for the record CA might produce more cheese than us nowadays, but being more doesn't mean being better. Maybe we can change ours to say Wisconsin: America's Dairyland, where the farmers still give a $hit

For all those advocating the county at the bottom of the plate: why?

Drover, I guess it's just interesting to see what county the guy next to you is from. I love seeing vehicles from out of state that have the county name on the bottom.

While it might be interesting to know where the guy next to you is from, it hardly seems like a compelling basis for public policy. Maybe that's just because I could not be arsed to know if the guy beside me is from Columbia County or Waukesha County.

I love the idea of promoting "green" on car tags. As a person who does not buy the global warming rumour/story/fiction whatever you want to call it; I would love to put a "green" license plate on something like a big ass hummer or pickup or similar vehicle. It would be a fun!
