My wife and I will be visiting family in La Crosse the first two weeks in April. My sister has only lived in La Crosse for a year, so they haven't made it to anything North of town yet. We are definitely going to visit Trempealeau and we would like to find a good local restaurant to eat at. I heard there are some that are right on the river.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much for the help.

Ed Sullivan's and the Trempealeau Hotel are two restaurants overlooking the river there. I've had good eats at both.

Agree with Ron - been to both . Love the Tremp for its atmosphere and great veggie burger - can't be beat!! Such a cute little town.

The Walnut Burger at Trempealeau Hotel is awesome. They sell them in stores around La Crosse. I'd love to see them get distributed more eastbound...

I'll have to check out Trempealeau when I hit up the River Road this summer.
