Now that voting is over, and since this thread has not been moved, it is my pleasure to report that Evers beat Fernandez by a 57%-43% margin.
We do care about our kids, unlike so many other states.

I'm really glad Wisconsin is such a progressive, solidly Blue state. It gives me a warm feeling inside

I'm surprised it was that close.

It doesn't take much experience to simply copy whatever the union wants.

You do realize the election is over with, right? Your side lost. Move on.

Almost mirrors the exact margin of victory of Obama over Bush.

Shouting down dissenting viewpoints is always the liberal standard operating procedure is it not?
I actually didn't vote, I don't care about public schools because I send my kids to private school, and I know nothing about either candidate. I have no idea if Evers or Fernandez are great or idiots. I jumped in the thread to point out the hilariousness of harping about experience a mere six months after Obama was elected by a significant margin. It is especially ironic considering Obama voters and Evers voters are probably, for the most part, the same people.
I sincerely hope that Evers will be taking on the $103 million that MPS wastes every year. (Milwaukee J-S article today).
