Default Everything about Pleasant Prairie

Hey,
Looking to see and hear more about Pleasant Prairie, does anyone have any pictures of this town and such? What are the stores and shops in the area?
how far do you need to go to get to the grocery store? Is there a home depot? Where do you go to walk with dogs to see rivers flow? Are there new homes in the area? what are they like? do they have big backyards? I'm a history bluff, is there genealogy societies and libraries near by? What kind of bugs are there? is it bike friendly? I'm sure i could think of more but maybe someone could give me the run down about this town.

Thank You So much for helping with the unknown of a new place of living.

Lisa

erinuncool is on a distinguished road
Hello- I worked in Pleasant Prairie for 3 years.

To be honest, it wasn't for me, but I can see it as a decent place to raise a family.

Grocery store: Woodmans. If you learn the layout of the store and make your list accordingly, you will be fine. Just don't go on the weekends! It's a huge HUGE grocery store and the food is very cheap and very worth the hassle.

Shops: there is the Prime Outlet Mall and there are other corporate stores, but not many small local shops.

Hardware stores: Home Depot and Menards and Lowes.

Rivers: Take HWY 50 West and you will find the Fox River off of HWY F, which I think you can get to from HWY W. Google it to be sure.

There are new homes in the area...big yards from what I remember.

Not too bike friendly.

I don't know, I found Pleasant Prairie to be boring and not at all unique, although it is a nice town with lots of new buildings. I don't know much about the other questions you asked, but maybe some others will chime in!
