Hello,
I think that if you are seriously looking to relocate, take a drive and see all that SE Wisconsin has to offer. I live in Racine county and find it very appealing. It is nestled between both city and country cultures. Don't believe the negative rehtoric about Racine. I question the motives of those who bash this city. Yes, like Milwaukee and many industrial towns, it has lost much in the way of manufacturing, but the people of this town are largely good natured and hard working. It offers a variety of housing and neighborhoods. The lake and downtown are great areas to recreate and browse the art galleries. There is always something going on there. I'm sure you will find Wisconsin a great value compared to out East. Give us a try, you just might like what you see!  |
