if the situation was reversed you'd be called a racist day and night.
MKE is one of the most segregated cities in all of the US, it's easily one of the worst for blacks as well. you've got alot to be proud of your "exciting" city.

Where are you pulling these numbers from?
Minneapolis-St. Paul 3,538,781
Milwaukee 2,014,032
You seem to be forgetting that Wisconsin shares the exact same Lake Superior coastline as Minnesota.
mod cut personal attack
WI does NOT share the same Lake Superior shoreline as MN. Look at a map. Bayfied WI is a nice place on the south side of LS. Duluth to Grand Portage is called the North Shore, mod cut
The Twin Cities are a major metro area twice the size of Milwaukee. In face, we have many WI people come to our metro because of jobs and quality of life.

No matter what, it's all comes down to what each individual likes and some will always feel strongly about one city/area over another. Personally, I never really cared for the Twin Cities. It just feels like a sterile busy shopping mall sprawled out over several miles. There are some good things there worth visiting such as Valleyfair, the Renn. Faire, the MN zoo and some other things. They do get decent concert bookings but I never went to any of them there. For some mod cut-language reason it seems they are always booked on Tuesdays or some other weeknight. Take a look at the latest Aerosmith tour listings, they are in the Twin Cities on a Tuesday. They come to Madison on a Friday. Why would I want to go to a major rock concert during the week? WTF!

First of all, you seem to be the one displaying a lack of intelligence here.
Second, who cares if it's the northern or southern shore, it's still the same lake. I've never heard anybody talk about the "North Shore" of Minnesota in my entire life. I have, however, heard many people talk about the Apostle Islands in Wisconsin and how beautiful they are.

Math must not have been your strongest subject in grade school. The Twin Cities aren't twice the size of Milwaukee. You would need another 500,000 or so people to accomplish that feat.

Being that you're from Wisconsin, wouldn't that make Milwaukee your "exciting" city as well? Milwaukee isn't as segregated as people make it out to be. The study everyone cites showing Milwaukee to be the most segregated city in the US came from an article in Jet magazine, hardly a respected journal of academia.

You seem kind of insular to WI which is why I guess you haven't "heard of" the North Shore. It probably only rivals Maine's coast for rugged beauty. The Apostle Islands are like the North Shore - its just that the North Shore is like that all the way up and even more dramatic in spots.
US Census Bureau 2008 (wikipedia) - this map shows TC is X2 of Milw. You may not like us, but for some reason we attract twice as many people, including lots of cheeseheads!
Sorry the name calling that was rightfully deleted by the moderator.

Enough with the infantile "my state is better than yours". People will prefer one over the other for their own personal reasons. This started out as a friendly discussion about the differences. It has degenerated to the point that perhaps it needs to be closed by a moderator.
