I had to chuckle a bit with you Gregg here. But hey, when I am in WI in March/April and it is 45 degrees, I am rolling down my car window!
I thought the posters here might be interested in the story on the snow from today’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
I have to confess that I especially found this line in the story funny - along the lines of what Gregg said:
“With any luck, they, too, will stomp the snow off their boots and take advantage of the real spring weather forecast to build slowly through the weekend: sunny and 45 on Saturday, 50 on Sunday and 59 next Tuesday.”
The “real” spring weather of whopping highs of 45, 50, and 59…boy, that sounds like a chilly stretch in winter here in Albuquerque!
But again, as much as I sympathize with my fellow-WIites over the snow, mid-April through end of October are usually GREAT weather in WI! If only that darned winter wasn't so long in hanging on...
Here is the story:

Our local news reminded us that last April it was a warm and very dry month. The snow is melting here all ready and I had my car window open today coming home for lunch!

Yikes! I would second what GreggB said...if you had the windows down, you truly are a hearty Wisconsin soul! Even in my most heartiest of WI heartiest, I wasn't rolling the window down below 40!
I love WI so much that I have on my PC a weather update program that updates WI weather from various cities from around WI continuously. I just checked it...I have a city reporting near where you are in the state I think -
SCHOFIELD, WI
As of 1:25pm CT, the temperature in Schofield is reporting at:
36° F
However, the forecast ahead of Schofield looks much better after today -
TODAY (4.12)
38°/27°
Fri
Apr 13 Sunny
50°/28° 10%
Sat
Apr 14 Mostly Cloudy
52°/29° 10%
Sun
Apr 15 Partly Cloudy
52°/29° 10%
Mon
Apr 16 Sunny
56°/35°
Actually, that looks warmer slightly than Milwaukee's extended forecast!
I know currently in Albuquerque it is 55° F (as of 12:25pm MT) and to me now, it is pretty chilly. I will have a sweatshirt on when I go outside and will have a low does of heat on in the car on the way home.
I guess if I do end up heading back to Wisconsin...I have some toughening up to do!

I'm one of those people who likes it cooler. So I did have the heat off in the car and the window open. It was sunny and 45 on the temp gauge in my car. But I am also a person who keeps the thermostat set at 62 degrees during the day all winter and about 55 at night. They laugh at me at school, they are all wearing sweaters in the building and I am in a short sleeved shirt. I don't think I have worn a winter jacket in over a month.

I forgot to add that all the snow is all ready gone. We only got about 3-4 inches yesterday and the April sun is warm enough to melt it all quickly!
