Still, they have alot of good districts in WI but plenty of lower schools. Plus CA has 36 million people so with all those different types who knows whats going to happen. The people are nice and different. Can be bad here and there but CA is a awesome state. And I dont hate WI i'm just defending my state from annoying stereotypes. Besides CA leads the way in new techs and ideas. That takes brains. Plenty of smart kids down here and if they go to college then even if they're school was low grade they still get a good education to go and make those ideas.

How old are you? The only reason I ask is because you write like your 12 years old. I hope that's the case, otherwise, I'm afraid California's educational system has completely failed you.

I didnt "rip"- I asked you a question. California has serious issues now, (I have family there), and education is certainly one of them. If there are "4 star" schools there, I should like to tell them about it as they have had a terrible time with schools.
And regarding what the above poster said, how old are you? I dont want to argue with a child. and I apologize if you are.

Regretfully I must point out the irony of spelling and grammar mistakes in this post. I was, however, an English major for two semesters .
The truth is that CA is in poor shape, and that is too bad. I first had the interest of living there about 10 years ago, and recently have been looking in depth at living there. Schools are not the strong point; nearly everyone suggests just a small number of districts if not to pony up for private school. The facts are out there so we should move past this part of the debate.
p.s. I also have family there; Gilroy, Oceanside, and Huntington Beach.

Being an adult doesn't mean you talk with huge words. And what I mean is that yes most schools can be preety low because of lots of students. But if you research you can find a 4 star school, but it still will probably have lots of kids and so teachers only can do so much. And also you have no right to say what a 12 year old talks like. Obviously you have no idea of the outside world and all the different people that inhabit it, typical of that area. But I can still say I had some pretty cool friends up there, but most weren't even from WI they came from Chicago or the big cities of the East and West Coast.

Please re read my post. I did not mention you being 12. And I do happen to know how a 12 yr old talks - I have one.
Also, I have lived in different areas of the country(west coast too) and have traveled alot. So that part doesnt work either. I live outside CHicago now by your cool friends. I still have family in Wisconsin and am there often, though we no longer have our home there.
My family has had a rough time with your school districts and I can assure you, much has been researched. But thank you for your information.

I didn't know you had to be a meteorologist to post what the weather is like. If you want specific scientific data about weather then maybe you should be checking out a different website.
My observations about the weather are from my day to day life
( like how my daughter's soccer games have been rained out and cold the past two years, where the year before I remember sitting out in a tank top.)
Sorry, I must have offended you. I didn't know my opinion of where I live would make someone boo me.
