Tell me about Wausau
I had a scholarship to study in north central technical college in Wausau , so what do you think of the place? What about the weather there?
How can I obtain a license? As well as purchase a vehicle

For about half of the year, the weather is nice, but winter will be harsh in Wausau. You'll need plenty of warm clothes.

I love Wausau, it feels big but it really isn't all that big. The landscape there is interesting. Rib Mountain plays a role in recreation there. Purchasing a used car in Wausau shouldn't be tough.

Car insurance is dirt cheap in Wisconsin. Wausau actually has an airport nearby.
All seasons can be fun if you like outdoors. January and February can be a little too cold.

Where are you moving here from? I moved myself and my family here from Catonsville Maryland about two years ago and we love it. The winters can drag on a bit but the rest of the year is simply beautiful. Don't get me wrong I like the winter and snow as well, it's just really nice when spring finally does come. I actually live about 20 miles north of Wausau right outside of Merrill, it's a lot smaller and I like it that way. If you like the outdoors and friendly people then you'll do wise by taking advantage of the scholarship and make the move here.

I live about 10 miles south of Wausau. Where are you moving from? We moved here from Chicago about 22 years ago and love it. Wausau is growing and they offer a lot of things to do. What are your interests?
