madison
if you want any form of a metro environment your only choices are milwaukee, madison, and maybe appleton or green bay.
Madison is known for it's culture and young attitude, and is supposedly a great place to live. Milwaukee real estate is overpriced, including the suburbs, and a huge portion of the city is run down and segregated. If you do choose Milwaukee I highly recommend the east side, along the lake by the university of wisconsin in milwaukee there are more young people and nicer neighborhoods, it's also practically downtown.

Does anyone know, if there is an other area like Door County, anywhere else in Wisconsin ? I mean, as looks, clean, wooded and without run down areas, where everyone is taking care of their properties.
Please let me know, I would very much appreciate it

Yes, snowflake73, I am not that far from Kenosha or Racine and you are right, I never heard anything good about these 2 places.
However, it seems that no one knows what's like to live in Door County
I'm still hoping though............that one day..........someone...........might be so kind to ..............TELL ME

Oneida and Vilas Counties are similar areas in terms of appearance, cleanliness, woodsy-ness, and upkeep. Lots of Chicago/Milwaukee money floating around that area. I believe Sawyer County is also similar.
