Bohica!!!
Well for those who don't know what BOHICA means get ready to. I can't believe all the people that voted for dem's and Doyle and some republicans too, haven't put two and two together when it comes to fee increases and taxes. Wisconsin is one of the highest taxed states and for taxes that aren't the highest well they are in the "middle of the road" taxes. We don't have a single tax that is "wow" that's a low tax. Gov. Doyle has ruined this state and more business continue to move out and us the voters don't seem to care.
I don't know how many people voted for Doyle or Republicans and as soon as the race is over they go back to their lives and start complaining about taxes and fees and cost of licensing in this state. Tax hikes or fee increases are about as common as speed traps in this state...everywhere!!!
So here is the latest installment of Bend Over Here It Comes Again. Don't worry many more will continue to come as WI is -6.6 billion compared to North Dakota's 400 million + budget.

Why do you compare WI to North Dakota? Why are they relevant to us?

B/c they are only one of two states that have a budget in the positive, Wyoming is the other state that actually makes money. If state budget's aren't "supposed to make money" is the argument I have heard from the left, why not at least break even?

Am I suppose to be up in arms over a < $100 property tax increase that would get that high only if the local municipalities increase the levy to the max? Should we riot in the streets over a $16 increase in the rental car fee which locals hardly ever use? As for the requested energy rate increase, how is that a partisan issue? Am I to speciously believe that WE Energies would NOT have requested a rate increased the rates no matter what the circumstances and somehow that's Jim Doyle's fault?
OH NOES!1!!!!1!1! The Demmy-crats are taking our $$$$$ to cover a record deficit put in place by a bi-partisan legislature! How scandalous!
And "many more will continue"? Are you not aware that the budget has been signed and completed before the start of the next cycle for the first time in how many years now?
Turn off the talk radio next time before posting.

It's not, I never said it was. It's a state issue. Plus how much is enough? a little here and a little there what's the big deal right? wrong!!! it is a big deal just like when someone financial advises someone to cut down on the little expenses b/c it kills one's budget the same happens here to wisconsin citizens. Before you know it year after year you suddenly realize wow!!! I can't believe I have to pay $9 per phone a year, yes for some who runs a business that's $9 per line!!! when a buisness has 25 lines that is just added cost that will be passed on to us.
Plus I wish I could listen to more talk radio but b/c of my job in finance I'm constantly listening to a liberal station 780wbbm which is business slanted but reports news stroies from the left. I have to switch between cnbc and wbbm for market updates.
If you're happy with the level of taxation then so be it, it's what you voted for, either dem or rep. they all want to well...BOHICA!!! If I lived in a state like NY, Cal, Fla that required a lot of city services amongst other things then I could understand but we are a step above wyoming when it comes to amenities. So if I was living in NYC I prolly wouldn't complain as much. Besides when is too much taxes too much? There is a reason why Houston and Texas are the cheapest places to live and the best place for business for the last 25 years. Point being you don't need to tax the pants off of people to get great services.

So you chose those states, not because they have similiar industries, populations, or history. You chose them because they don't have a deficit. Well, Alaska gets oil revenues and kicks some of that back to its residents, why aren't you comparing us to them? It's obvious you are partisan in your comparison and views, it's nice to know you don't even try to hide it.

Wisconsin has more people than North Dakota and Wyoming combined, it's comparing apples to oranges as far as I'm concerned.
