Residing near Lake Michigan will definitely be a large change from Kansas. Five miles inland will make a large difference in humidity, temperature. Fond du Lac's (40 miles west) growing season is two or more weeks earlier than Sheboygan's.
The Kettles' area of undulations and lakes is minutes away...a glaciated section of eastern Wisconsin from it's north down to Baraboo, with charm and beauty.
Fall is a delight with the Lake's influence.
Stay mobile and flexible and Sheboygan County is good living.
Warm and genuine people, basically.

Everyone references the 'drug problem'. Isn't it kind of proportional to the population? Sure, some Sheboyganites do drugs. Probably the same proportion of people who do drugs in any other city or small town.

I am a Realtor for Sheboygan County and I live in Plymouth. I LOVE Plymouth, ELkhart Lake, Sheboygan Falls and Howards Grove areas. They are very nice, low crime areas. I don't suggest Sheboygan, but there are nice parts to the city. If you want any help with finding a good area to live in, I'd like to help.
