Wisconsin been N.1
We are down to two states.
Pa and Wi.
If we decide to relocate to Wisconsin from France.
I am thinking NEENAH would be a good place for the first 6 months.
A place to start meeting people, getting use to the law of the land, etc....
After that we are buying.
Any thoughts on that....

Will you have jobs when you relocate? We tried to relocate to Appleton (near Neenah) but no job bites. One recruiter called my husband and jerked him around (no problem, there are plenty of jobs here...she said). Nothing came of a half an hour phone interview.
If you go to PA, stay near a MAJOR city.

Neenah is a very nice city. It is a good size, not too small. It's location is good, about 1 1/2 hours from Milwaukee or Madison, about 3/4 hour from Green Bay. Neenah is a sister city to Menasha which can be a plus. They have very good schools, and an excellent library. Close enough to Appleton and Oshkosh for museum, art, symphony, theatre, and entertainment. They have a very good hospital, and again there is close back up to Appleton & Oshkosh. As long as the job market is to your liking, Neenah would do you well for a lot longer than 6 months.

Jobs
The way we would do it is that my husband would go first in November.
Find a rental as we have 3 cats.
Then job hunt.
He has 15 years experience in printing, but it is not his first choice.
As for me, well not having been able to use my B.s. Degree for much.
I am not too picky.
I just hope that the job market is good.

degree
My degree full name is: Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Family Studies.
To make the b.s. short, I studied the family as a business system.
The only jobs that I got using my degree were: assistant medical social worker and first time homebuyer counselor. I did financial counseling for both jobs (Dig people out of a hole).

Health services is becomming a huge industry in the US. FYI, Neenah has one very good hospital, Oshkosh has two, Fond du Lac has one, and Appleton has one. All within 50 miles. And then, there are all of the old folks homes. There might be a lot of opportunities for you.

Health services.
I will keep this in mind.
Thank you so for the information.
I do appreciate.
It is going to be weird enough to relocate in a place where you know nobody.
