Default Rockin' Brett

just had to post this....

(from Yahoo today - Favre says he 'may not' be an ironman this season - NFL - Yahoo! Sports)

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP)—Remember Brett Favre’s first answer to Vikings coach Brad Childress? My body isn’t up for this, he said. Six weeks later, Minnesota’s new quarterback wants to remind the football world just how old he is.
“I may not finish the year. If you would have asked me my first year if I would finish I’d have said, ‘I may not,”’ Favre said.
..........
Unless Favre visited some secret Mississippi version of the Fountain of Youth during that time, however, the health of one of the most durable athletes in history is still in question. Favre acknowledged as much Wednesday, the day a rocking chair appeared in front of his cubicle in the locker room courtesy of an unknown prankster.

Hey, anybody who saw that little-kid in the sandlot look on Brett's face as he slowly raised his face off the ground yesterday to see what happened to his 50 yd game winning bomb and wasn't just plain happy for the man, has a heart of stone .

My flooring guy was here today, dressed entirely in green & gold, and he was happy for Favre. It was a cool way to end the game, regardless of which team you cheer for.

I didn't know there was a vikings sports bar in GB

I don't hate the guy...believe me...am I disappointed how he has acted...completely...but he has done a lot for Wisconsin and football in general...

with that said...I'm a packer fan first and foremost...so me cheerin for anything good the vikings do would be impossible for me...and seeing favre have success as a viking...makes me dislike him that much more...

this is a very extreme example...but it would be like a top army generals going to a different country and starting battle with our country for supremacy...haha extreme I know but thats SORT of how I see it...IMO...he's a traitor one way or another
