I see nothing good coming out of this thread. Do we really need another bashfest here. There are no terrible cities in Wisconsin. They all have nice areas and enough to do. This isn't Haiti.

Interesting thread, I'll keep it open unless it becomes a flame war et cetera.

I can't stand Racine, way too cookie cutter and the city seemed very rust beltish.
Fon du Lac, That city is just weird not sure it's bad or good.lol
Beloit, seems to be a haven for gangs, drugs et cetera.

I can't think of any others as of now.

Racine
Janesville
Beloit
Marinette
Fond Du Lac

I nicknamed Racine, "rancid". Marinette/Peshtigo seem like ghost towns. Fond Du Lac is forgettable. Whatever is in the Rock River, it seems that it affects Beloit, Rockford, and Janesville. Kenosha barely made it off of my top 5 worst places because it's actually done some things to improve... and it seems that the purveyors of big hair styling services must have finally moved out of town for good. Just my opinion.

It's spelled Fond du Lac. It's actually a very nice town along the lake with a much more interesting and active downtown in comparison to Oshkosh or Appleton. They managed to maintain a lot of their historic structures and keep a great historical perspective.

Racine can also be quite an interesting town. There is a thread about biking Wisconsin/Milwaukee. I would suggest to anyone who likes biking to do the Milwaukee-Racine trip. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the downtown area of Racine once I arrived from Milwaukee.

Beloit is the most blah, boring WI city that I have been to. After that, I would say:

Kaukauna (Stinky paper mills)
Kenosha (dreary, industrial looking)
Racine (ditto)
Rhinelander (way way out in the middle of nowhere)
Manitowoc (old, boring)

Excuse my faulty grammar skills. I'm glad there's a grammarian around here. I don't know how I spelled it wrong, I've typed that name a million times. I must of been in a hurry.
