Transplants from Michigan
My husband and I and our two children may be moving to Madison soon. I would love to hear from other transplants from Michigan as to how it compares. We currently live in Oakland county and it would be nice to hear from others who are familiar with this area of the state. Yes, we are in suburban Detroit - the most hated city in the world -but it's all I've ever known and quite frankly it's not so bad if you avoid the city. We have really good schools, nice neighborhoods, great retail stores and gourmet markets and I would hope to find a similar area there. Thanks
