Default 1 year update from Couleeguy

Well it’s been a year! First let me say thank you to the people of this board who made my transition here to my new state fantastic. Everyday I meet people here and I am blown away. I am currently looking for a new home in La Crosse and I never want to leave. I spent years trying to find a place like this and for me, I still can’t believe that I live here. ( I’m not going to talk about the taxes!) I have made so many friends and t it is overwhelming they way this community is. It’s about the people! It is pretty cool to look back at my posts in the last year. We go out hiking every weekend and visit the parks all around La Crosse. I think it’s pretty cool to be walking down town and people will come up to you. They remember your name. It is such a different vibe here. Very close community.

You sound just like us. We will be here 2 years in December. Love it more everyday if that is possible. The people in our town have been so wonderful to us. And we love winter so we would never complain about that. This is home and we are so happy to be here.

I am so looking forward to winter! Right now the Bluffs are changing colors. I love getting lost in Wisconsin.

Awesome, glad to hear you are doing well and enjoying LaCrosse! Time does fly by, I've been here 2 yrs., too and couldn't be happier! Two Rivers is a nice town, people are very friendly! For me, I made the right choice!

That's great that you love WI, couleeguy! It's nice to read a positive post about the great state of WI. Can I ask where you moved from? We left WI 4 years ago, but we come back to visit frequently...After living in NC, we recently moved to Maine and absolutely can't for winter! I'm sure it'll remind us a lot of WI!
