Have to give directions to acreage and if up may come meet ya's.. This weekend hopefullu hang a couple deer though for kids.
Rusk county not bad for permits township may have permit requirements also though.

I seen a guy built a whole house with the concrete foam forms and foam insulates great and he put his siding and stuff over that.. No need for more insulation that way.

Hub has to work this weekend, not sure if we will get there Sun aft or Sun nite, but we will be there on Mon. for sure.
Fairview Rd. and Highway A. Chippewa Pines, Lot 11.
We will be seeing it ourselves without the realtor for the first time and hope we can find it!
Jeff (my hub) already has plans of building a picnic table on site for the occasion.

Okay, just got back a few hours ago, and I have to say, I have really fallen hard for the state of Wisconsin. The fall colors down 90-94 were magnificent. Some trees were actually a coral color. It was a spectacular event, and then, the next day, SNOW! It snowed the whole day up by the Bruce/Imalone area.

People were helpful and friendly. The food was great-esp. the broasted chicken at the Back Door Cafe in Ladysmith. Shirley at the visitors center there was quick to set us up with all the information we needed. She is a gem.
Nearby, we saw mink ranches, donkey ranches, dairy farms, sheep and goat farms, alpaca ranches. Loved Rice Lake-what a great town.
GloryB's in Bruce is a great bar to have a beer, and Mirr's Gateway Lodge is economical and cozy.
Rode thru the Blue Hills, gorgeous. I am so in love.

So glad you are enjoying WI. That is what brought us here. The friendly people and the gorgeous scenery. We never get tired of it and never regretted our decision.

Glad you're enjoying the state for all it has to offer, and are enjoying the countryside, simple happy friendly towns, and the snow!

So sorry we missed you, too!

One thing I did notice up in Rusk Co. compared to Barron, Sawyer and Chippewa, is that it seems a "poorer" county in terms of the condition the farmers keep their property. A lot of run down barns and buildings with tons of old junk and cars, rv's, boats strewn around.
Are there harsher restrictions in other counties?

Not sure on that but many old farmers went out and kids took over and just let them go. Way junk prices were think most of that junk be gone. I know a few working farms though that wonder how can sell any milk as everything looks like junk and nasty.
