Good apartments? (Milwaukee, Appleton, Neenah: extended stay, to rent, condos)

Since our house here in Tennessee still hasn't sold, and we are scheduled to move with work in a couple of weeks, we have decided to rent an apartment or a house/duplex in the Appleton/Neenah/Menasha area instead of buying right away. It's a little difficult to research this online (especially houses). Does anyone know of any apartments or houses that are kid and pet friendly (we have an English Springer Spaniel)? I don't really want a "college" apartment building, since we aren't into the all-night partying anymore. But never having been to the area, I don't know where to look.

I am not very familiar with Appleton, but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. We have been trying to sell our home here in SE WI to no avail while my husband has been working out in Reno, NV since Jan. We are looking into renting there as well. Good luck and GOd Bless!

Karen, we aren't allowed to advertise specifics, but check your PM's. I will send you the name of the management company we are renting from. I believe they have some complexes that are pet friendly. And they are very strict about noise levels. The places are maintained really well and have beautiful grounds; fitness centers; some have ponds w/ fountains; etc.

Hi, we are moving to the Fox Valley in the next month for work also and will be trying to sell our Condo in South Florida. The market here is terrible!

We are looking for a nice house or apartment near Neenah/Menasha.

Does anyone know the name of the new apartments near on the river near downtown Menasha/ Doty Island.

Also, can anyone reccommend an extended stay hotel in the interim?
