All this thread proves is the childishness of many people. I'm assuming most of you are in your 20s, and the "suggestions" validate the opinions many have of your generation.

Lighten up North Beach Person! FYI, the characters I referred to are from Office Space, a film that pretty much defined the corporate struggle a decade ago, and still holds true today. I thought it was funny in my 20s and still think it is in my 30s...

You could always steal the fax machine and take it to a field and beat the *^%@ out of it----My absolute FAVORITE scene in "Office Space". At my old job we always talked about doing that with our computers. lmao

I got to leave early today, hurray!

I feel the same as I did on high school graduation day -- delighted to be out of there, never will darken their doorstep -- and now I have the future that I had been eagerly anticipating right here in front of me. It's a weird feeling. I've left jobs before, and laid off once, but it wasn't like being paroled.

You had better hope that no one from your work somehow knows you post here, or else you just admitted to a misdemeanor in Texas, you won't be meeting Bubba, but it'll go on your record, and you would deserve it.

Did you manage to get a reference from someone, if not BD , another leader?

They don't do references. One time a co-worker asked management for a reference for a school application (for enrollment in 2012!) and they refused. I can get a good reference from a co-worker but that isn't as useful as a reference from management.

This is part of their autocratic structure. You're a head of livestock, not a person. Everyone I've talked to under BD hates working there. I didn't even know how others felt until I gave notice, because they are so afraid to speak for fear of BD finding out and being shown the door.
