There is a county next to where I live that has had 40% unemployment for many years. The stated numbers have always been less than 10%. I can drive there and see what is happening.

Sorry Rich CD, but your opinion is way too provincial to be of any use on a national forum. My guess is you are in a blighted area way past its prime with people who can't offer employers much but their hands and backs.

You expect the country to be as it was long ago and you probably voted for a party whose policies stripped away that life long ago.
