Pay off my debts and student loans, put some away for retirement, then start my business.

I would take a vacation and enjoy for a couple weeks while we talked about what we wanted to do with the rest of our lives. It would be important that we both agreed and decided what to do together as a team.

Definately won't be leaving any jobs. I would wipe out my credit card debt and car loans first. Then place some of it in some low risk investments and save the rest. I would probably aim to use a good chunk for a possible down payment on a house someday. And yes I may go on a vacation, get some performance mods for my cars, or just splurge a bit, but I would definately not go crazy.

Oh and I would definately demand anonymity when I collect my prize. No need for old "friends" to be suddenly coming out of the woodwork telling me some sob story to try to get their hands on the money.

Pay off bills, give to charity and family, save for retirement, take a great vacation and go back to work.

Pay off debts, split the rest between real estate/market investments, don't change my lifestyle.

Maybe blow a little on a week long vacation.

Pay off debts, take some trips, fight to hang on to the rest. If it were $5 million, make some investments, hoping they don't go bust. From what I have heard about lottery winners, it is a fate I would only wish on my worst enemies.

I would use that to splurge on things I've wanted for a while and then set aside the rest to start a business. XD

One step closer to conquering the world

$50k for debts.

$300k in investments/IRA.

$100k to parents for making me who I am.

$250k for a biznass.

No change in lifestyle. Perhaps, as others have mentioned, a nice vacation.

I'm close enough to retirement age that this would definitely be "FU" money for me. With my other savings, more than enough, in fact.
