Not so. Look at OKC, there is little farming there, and an ultra low unemployment rate... Even Tulsa is pretty low. And you can pick up the U-6 data too for each state, it is roughly the same, which means that farming doesn't make a huge difference...

Thanks for the replies. My husband is only applying to places we wouldn't mind moving to and that have a decent climate. We have researched all areas and try to stay up to date on their local news. He has had some interviews since my lasting posting in my home town, but nothing has come through. We are now making plans for him to go out of state to see how that goes.

Best of luck! Moving for work is stressful at first, but well worth it in the end. I've done it twice.
