Such greed of American Companies and CEO's... Coke makes a lot of profit on cheap soda, and they can't even afford worker's health care?

America is dying because of such companies!

Just one of innumerable, countless human rights violations of the corporate dictatorship "companies." Nothing new or shocking. The workers need to collectively sue Coke.

Coke and plenty others want to work you like a slave and not provide you with health insurance or any other benefits. They only want the profit that your work provides them and give the worker nothing in return. Greedy. Selfish. Evil. The worker is a replaceable commodity worth nothing.

Even more reason not to be loyal to these greedy monsters. They can dish it out but they sure as hell can't take it when someone gives them a dose of their own medicine. Well too bad. What comes around goes around. When I read stories like this, I don't feel an ounce of guilt for using these companies and then leaving them when I find a better deal. The need to start reaping what they sow.

As much as I'd like to say DON'T support this company, I feel like it'd be doing greater damage to these workers than to the fat cats sitting at the top of their pyramid. Happy to see another loss for the greedy. And people continue to wonder why the Obamas and Pelosis continue to be elected instead of "free market" types. Umm, isn't it obvious? Free Markets fail when you have people like this running the show.

My wife was employed by the worlds largest defense contractor for 15 years in their benefits department at corporate headquarters. She was non union in a mostly union business. She became ill with a severe chronic condition. She explained to me, 2 years before it actually happened, exactly how this corporation will terminate her. And they will do it through her health insurance by using "in network doctors" to do as little as possible to treat her condition through health insurance executives who work full time with this corporation who employ 300,000 people. She was bounced from network doctor to the next until she could no longer work in which her doctor refused to sign her long-term (2 years) disability papers. She was terminated. I was not convinced of this until I picked up insurance at my employer. The treatment for her disease was immediate. This employment for healthcare needs to end in some manner. It is now a tool many large employers use in many ways to manipulate employees.

And worse, we are the ONLY developed nation on earth that does health care this way and puts the burden on business.
