Touché; Yes, I suppose that is one exception.

I'm already averaging 56 hours weekly at my first job. I've thought about adding another FT or PT to my income stream, but I'm already in the 25% tax bracket so I'm not sure it'd be worth it. I once did 2 fulls but was constantly tired every day. I was doing 100+ hr workweeks. I'd get maybe 4 or 5 hours of sleep max. Sometimes nothing. In the end, I had to quit it because of schedule conflicts.

For most of my 20s, and into my early 30s, I worked a full time day job, and did cocktail waitressing several nights a week at a comedy club. It often worked out to 40 hours a week at each job. The money was insane, but I hit a wall and cannot imagine doing it again.

Same here -- you hit that wall.

I worked 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and then the second job was 5:00 p.m. to 1:15 a.m. Both jobs were M-F.

I did it for about a year and a half and then I couldn't take anymore.

After that, I limited my second job to part-time hours in the evenings and weekends

During one summer in college I worked 2 full time jobs to fund my next year. One was your standard M-F 8-5 paid internship and the other was in fast food, which was about 6- midnight some weeknights, plus 1 or 2 8+ hour days on weekends. I also worked out about 4-6 times a week, so I wasn't normally getting home until about 1-2 am. It was tiring, and definitely a boring summer for a 19-20 year old, but I made it through it OK.

I currently only have one job, but it's often 60 hours a week or more and can sometimes spike around 100 depending on deadlines.

No. I do not have the stamina to work two jobs. My job is very time consuming. I often work late.

Had a friend back in the 70's who was a college grad and had two outside sales positions. Same basic sales territory selling product to supermarkets. No conflicting products but had two company cars. Would walk in and sell one item and then come back to sell the other. Did it for over 2 years. Got caught when the company sales meetings fell at the same time.

The most I worked at once (not counting the college years), was a regular office job and as a personal trainer at a gym. The office job was from 8:30 to 5:30 and the personal training job was from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM and then from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. I was transitioning from the office job to do personal training and had to build a clientele while still working the stable job. I did personal training until the market crash and then switched to nursing, something recession proof.
