...stop buying foreign products. Seriously. The Chinese don't buy the things you make or sell...but Americans do. If they have more money to spend, your company will have more business which equals more jobs for Americans. Simple.
Yes I know cheap foreign stuff is like crack and you can't stop buying - if you must buy, buy it used.
Yes I know American stuff is more expensive. Tools I buy are 2x-3x as much money. It hurts a little, however one thing it does is make me really think about purchases, and I don't have a garage full of crap that I use once and never look at again.

The worst part is you, I believe, work as a government contractor. So the government taxes Americans and gives money to you and you pay China. A double whammy. The American consumer mentality is what is reducing the middle class. I totally understand we are the minority but at least I can look another American in the eye and know I did everything I could to help him and myself.

Hah you are missing out the big secret. There are lakes of fudge, lollipop trees, unicorns to ride, marshmellow pillows, talking pugs, rainbow slides, and fountains of Belgian beer. We all just sit in there laughing at the people who won't come in and don't know.

Then buy used or European. That pretty much covers most items. One day "made in USA" won't exist anywhere. There is something refreshing about holding a product in your hand with that stamped on it. Plus by supporting China you are supporting many bad things and ideals. We are funding their governments actions to slowly erode the US, hack our computers, and steal intellectual property rights.
