This is a release of information form for a first claim that includes release of medical records, etc..

Has anyone ever seen a request for release of financial statements?

I understand the need for release of wage information.

Why do they need financial statements?

Financial statements means they could get our bank records.

IRS perhaps?

What else?

Is it legal for them to require a release of financial statements when we've only started a workers comp claim?
