Other factors such as education, references etc aside, when looking at a resume, what is more important do you think? Being in an industry, but doing something NOT related to the job that you are applying for (washing cars when you want to really be sale manager for a rental car agency), OR doing something kinda similar to the job you are applying for, although in a different industry (having a small percentage of your job duties selling something not related to cars, for example).
