To whoever left that comment, I previously worked for a short period as an intern for the same institution that offered me my first job, therefore I was no stranger to them. Oh, and I started working at "such an old age" because 1) was pursuing my bachelors degree full time 2) my parents paid for my tuition and all other expenses so I can focus only on my studies.

Next time leave your name so I can return the rep favor.
That's interesting that you didn't work while in high school. I'm definitely going to encourage my kids to work in high school and college. Millions of kids do it while handling school and it's doable for the average high school/college student. Work experience can really help kids learn about life while making their own pocket change and not having to rely on mom and dad for money.

Not having a job until you are 22 does put you at a disadvantage, but it seems like it worked out for you so that's good.

I'm glad you had a good day. Just keep thinking about your good days when you're getting ready for work. But you can't just rely on your good days and then regress when you have bad days because EVERYONE has good and bad days and it might not be smart to categorize every day as either good or bad. Good luck with your counseling. Hopefully your counselor will give you some helpful tips to manage your anxiety.

I'm happy you're having so many great days. As coolsocks suggested, just keep reminding yourself of how much fun you have on those days.

Glad to hear you're counseling starts soon! That's fantastic! Keep at it! Don't give up! You can overcome this!

Hello!! (: Things are going pretty good. I just got off work actually. It was good! I was a little nervous at first but not a lot and I did fine the whole night.. I didn't get down on my self when i messed up either. they asked me to work a double tomorrow. So i'll be working for a while! Ahah but I don't mind. Atleast right now I don't. Last night the nerves came the next day. So i'll have to wait and see. (:

yeah I am glad that I got asked to work that double. It went good! I wasn't short on my drawr or anything. I thought I would be because I was working so long! I work today. And tomorrow. And then Saturday and Sunday. I do DRA tomorrow. I'm nervous for that. It'll be only my second time. I'm always so tempted to call and say I can't come in but I always make sure I don't and go in.

I'm glad to hear you're doing so good!!

It's great that you realize that calling off will make things worse. Never call off.

It's clear that you're an excellent worker. Don't be nervous about doing DRA. You had the best night ever last time you did DRA. You loved it! Just remind yourself of that!
