How about instead of statewide and city wide minimum wage there is a minimum wage dependent on company's earnings? Companies that make more than a certain amount have a higher wage and smaller businesses with less earnings have a lower minimum wage. It keeps the big companies from screwing over the employees and making more millions than they need and helps the small businesses grow.

There is no way I would want to take the power away from the individual states to set min. wage and hand it over to the corporations.

Well, usually the shareholders in public companies expect the company to be profitable and pass profits to investors...... did you think about that?

Isn't it unfair? Why would a company been punished for earning more profit? They already pay more taxes If they have higher income.

Btw, there is also a term call "bonus". Company may choose to give employee bonus in the good year
