For many of us, the corporate latter gives the life and fulfillment we want. People like myself, enjoy thinking outside the box. For those who escaped corporate culture, what did you end up doing?

I'm considering dropping my corporate job, changing the focus of my MBA and getting into the no profit world. I understand the negatives to non profit work, such as salary, I don't need to hear them. How is the non profit world for someone who loves working, loves doing something that contributes to more than a shareholder's portfolio, and still wants to live a somewhat modest lifestyle?

I look forward to your stories and advice.
