Has anyone on here ever worked in an electrical substation? If so, did you enjoy your job?

There is a community college in my area that is going to be offering an associates degree program in electrical substation and relay technology. I am thinking about enrolling but I am not 100% certain I want to do this kind of work.

Contact your local power company and ask about a "tag along" day with people who do that work.
You should also ask them what **their** requirements are to be hired into that work.
