The first question is always why are you moving followed by how soon would you be able to start! I have to come up with an acceptable answer so as not to decrease my chances.

Maybe you're right, just say weather and culture.

Well people will understand the weather comment, it might be hard to pull off if you were moving to Minnesota. But someone could understand "I like the warmer dry weather that Southern CA offers, because the humidity and heat of FL is just too much for me".

And make a joke about how you walk out the door at 8am and your make up is running down your face, or you can't wear any due to the heat.

Or you would like to open a window and get some fresh air more than two months out of the year...LOL.

No one can fault you for that.

This way you're not bashing your current job and you don't open up a can of worms that your moving to improve your partner's chance of employment.

And let's face it culture wise LA has much more to offer, tell them you can only go to Disney World so many times.

Thanks. Yes, for Walt Disney - 2 times is more enough for my lifetime! Although, aren't the same theme parks in LA? LOL Thank you for the reassurance, I was just afraid of presenting a reason that "wasn't good enough."
