I had to do a phone interview, the next week consisted of a face to face interview and the next week after that consisted of a panel interview. . . the day after the panel interview someone from HR called me to offer me the position.
I had an interview that told me they would know in 3 days.
Really depends on what expectations they set.
If you didn't ask, I'd say normally in a month latest.
I started off as a temp (which I liked--never had any intentions of becoming perm) and it took them 3 months to offer me perm.
PS. It's not all that it's cracked up to be. Corporate pays better, but the stress is generally NOT worth it....not unless you're making a fancy 6-figures or more, anyway lol.
Couple of the corporate jobs that I have had they only were able to add people to the payroll once a month. Had one interview but had to wait almost 4 weeks to see if that dept still had the budget and get me on board. But typically between an initial phone interview and the offer it took 4-6 weeks before every corporate job that I had.
I had a series of three interview sessions. First with the hiring manager and two of my future co-workers. Next with the hiring manager's boss. Third with that boss's boss and the HR director. At the end of the third round of interviews I was informally offered the position, and was told that a formal offer would be sent by mail. I got it in a couple of days.
