Being a non-office type worker, I didn't realize how hazardous you all have it. Maybe some protective clothing like I have to wear would help.

Gosh I HATE when folks DO this ... When I worked at a government agency, my supervisor did this and handed me the papers. I just cringed inside but did not make any comments.

I was once purchasing papers at a stationary store and the fellow was counting it out while licking his fingers ... After he got to 15, I had enough and asked him if he would not do that. He got a little belligerent about it and told me to count it out myself. I was happy to do so and demonstrated that it could be done without the nasty finger licking

no thanks. I think its gross.
Thank you! This habit is just plain unsanitary and I wish that folks would find alternative methods for counting that doesn't involve their spit

I hate when people lick their fingers to get a grip on pages or through a book that belongs to me. If the book doesn't belong to me, I could care less. I've never gotten into doing that nasty habit.

I bet you don't keep a hand sanitizer or mouthwash on your nightstand beside the bed do you. Mainly when you are dating, not so much if married.

I would think the paper licking thing would be a mi nute thing.
