Correct me if I am wrong, MP, but I believe that you are alluding to the post freaking out about engaging at work in another natural body function necessary to life: pooping.

So, yes, I believe it is indeed a joke.

Very clever-point made.

Default Ok.....

I would, but I do not need food for sustenance.

Only sunlight, red bull and a cowboy hat.

A ball bearing and axle grease sandwich planted in the refrigerator would make such criminals think twice before trying it again.

In about 25 years working full time, I have probably NOT eaten lunch at work maybe 50 times. Meaning, I very rarely go out for lunch. I always bring my lunch from home. Instead I play basketball or go swimming or cycling. It only takes me about seven minutes to eat lunch and it only costs me maybe a buck. I can eat at my desk.

Yes, I've dealt with lunch thieves. The worst perp would take a bite out of a sandwich and then put the sandwich back, just spiteful and disgusting.

It stopped when a few people decided to bring in lunches laced with laxatives. I'll bet she avoided tuna fish and chicken salad for the rest of her life after that. (We figured out who it was by all of her trips to the bathroom. They didn't fire her, though, because that would have required us to admit to the laxatives.)

We used to have this happen a lot. What we found out was that there was a homeless person living in the depths of our oversized, unused space, and he would sneak into the kitchen and steal food. We had a lot of vacant space; there could have been 20 people living there for all I know.

Yep, happened before at my last job. A few times actually. How frustrating!
