Well thanks a lot for all the advice everyone! Momotaro, your experience definitely gave me some confidence.

And I agree, I've probably been over-thinking things, but I guess given the state of the economy and finally finding a job I'm qualified for, I felt like I was shooting myself in the foot over the smallest of things.

I'll keep everyone updated (for those who care I guess) on what comes of it, if anything, but I appreciate everyone's advice and I'm glad I asked. I feel better now.

I was thinking about writing them another short email simply saying I forgot to mention that I am looking to move an hour up to the city but am not looking for any relocation assistance.

I'm also afraid that if I email them with that I'll look like a pest.

But on the other hand I don't know if I'll be in the running if they don't know my intentions of not wanting to commute but to move there

The email would be a waste of time (both yours and theirs).

I wouldn't email anymore but I would call the HR department to confirm they received your resume and/or if they have any further questions; ask if you can follow up with them in a week or so. Shows you are interested...
